Founder of Recruiting Theory
I've been a headhunter for 24 years. I started when I was 18 right after I moved to New York City from San Diego just a couple of weeks after graduating high school.
Other than bagging groceries and driving a bike cab for a summer... it was my first "big boy" job.
For the first several years my billings were a roller coaster ride. I would go from being the biggest biller in the office back to back years to blanking for as many as 4 months straight.
I realized that for the most part I really didn't like recruiting but I was unwilling to start over and learn something else because I didn't want to risk losing the lifestyle I had gotten used to.
In 2008, during the peak of the financial crisis, I learned a strategy that not only made the time surrounding the crisis my most successful up to that point... but more importantly gave me a way to work that I took more pride in because I became a trusted advisor and not just a middleman and frankly... I just had a lot more fun with.
In 2009 I started my own company, Tidestreet, where using that strategy allowed me to bill $18 million over a 12 year stretch with zero employees and a virtual assistant.
Over the past couple years, I've learned that my unique approach works across virtually every recruiting niche.
If you're a search firm owner and you're not in my niche (commercial banking), I can help you add a massive revenue stream to your recruiting business.
I help my clients to stand apart from the masses and increase their profits by showing them...
